"Emma the Amish Girl", pinup of the month April on the popular website New American Pinup, is causing tons of commotion.

Blogs and fora created a hype that started a few hours ago and is now ridiculously out of proportion. As soon as the news got hot it created a snowball effect crashing the website of NAP.

Emma is pictured barely nude showing no real shame as she poses willingly for the camera. The website made sure that they included some pictures of Emma in an Amish outfit - titled "Emma the Amish Girl is REALLY Amish" - to silence the non-believers.

The Amish are an orthodox Anabaptist sect that live in small rural communities in America. States like Ohio, Indiana and Pennsyllvania as well as Ontero in Canada are known to house Amish communities.

The Amish are known for their very strict ''work-and-familiy-policy'' and they shun the modern world. Girls aren''t allowed to contact the outside world until they are 16 and start their "rumspringa" or "running-around". After some time exploring the outside world they can decide to stay or to leave the community.

Emma is certainly breaking taboos here as exploiting nudity is most sinful and wrong according to the Amish.

Yet, she is already so popular that she will appear on the Howard Stern Show on Tuesday so her 15 minutes of fame will be assured.
