The Basque wrestler beat her rival in two rounds to gain a place in the quarter finals. Unda faces Mongolian wrestler Burmaa Ochirbat in the next round.

Basque wrestler Maider Unda, from Alava, had an easy win over her first rival in the 72 kilo Olympic wrestling competition on Thursday gaining herself a place in the quarter finals.
Unda, who just missed out on a bronze medal in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, started out with a strong performance in this year’s competition, overcoming her rival, Colombia’s Ana Talia Betancur, in just two rounds lasting two minutes each.
In the next round, Vitoria-born Unda will face Mongolian wrestler Burmaa Ochirbat.
