The 48 Heineken Jazz Festival, to be held in San Sebastian between July 24-28, has scheduled the concerts by the eighteen Basque groups in different venues chosen in three ways: their participation in the process of selection that has taken place between January and April, the publication of an album over 2012 and the agreement signed between the Festival and Musikene (Higher School of Music of the Basque Country).

Furthermore, Beñat Achiary, singer and musician from Iparralde worldwide recognized for his originality and authenticity, will be one of the protagonists of The Nights of San Telmo, exactly on July 26; Iñaki Salvador, jazz Basque pianist with a longer and more productive career, will perform an interesting concert whose details will be forthcoming soon; Mikel Azpiroz, established international pianist and organist, will perform on July 28 in a venue which will be specified later; and the jazz trio Igelaren Banda and the group Gabacho Maroconnection, based in Iparralde, will perform at the Jazz Band Ball on July 24, which will open the Festival.

Moreover, nine local DJs will rotate in the Nauticool, the beautiful venue in the terrace of the Yatch Club.
