Films in Progress, the twice-yearly event organised by the San Sebastian Festival and Cinélatino, Rencontres de Toulouse, is now receiving submissions for its 24th edition.

The aim of this initiative is to help achieve the completion of Latin American films at the post-production stage.

Films in Progress 24 will take place in San Sebastian on 23rd, 24th and 25th September 2013 as part of the Festival's 61st edition.

Films in Progress will for the first time run for 3 days to coincide with the II Europe-Latin America Co-production Forum. The initiative will therefore open its doors to an even higher number of professionals, with greater focus on the aims of both activities: to boost audiovisual production and strengthen the Latin American and European industries by fostering cooperation between professionals and the opening out towards new international markets.

Recent years have seen Films in Progress become an enormous source of contribution to completion and circulation of some of the best feature films to have come out of Latin America.

Films in Progress 24 is open to feature films made in Latin American countries, which, though completed, are experiencing difficulty at the post-production stage.
