For the second year running, the Velodrome will become an enormous 3D cinema offering two sessions during the coming San Sebastian Festival.

Almost 3,000 viewers at each screening will be able to enjoy the experience of watching films in three dimensions as part of an enormous audience and before a giant screen measuring 400 m2.

The Velodrome will host the world release of the first Spanish digital 3D animated film, Holy Night!, in the shape of the directorial debut by Juan Galiñanes.

Viewers will also be able to enjoy Despicable Me, the first 3D animated production from Universal.

Kelonik, XpanD and Christie, prestigious companies and indisputable leaders in the field of digital 3D screenings, will contribute their extensive experience to permitting the San Sebastian Film Festival to bring viewers this new screening system.

As is the case with this year''s San Sebastian Film Festival, XpanD was selected by the Cannes Film Festival as an official provider of its 3D digital movie viewing system.
