Paris Hilton remained loyal to the motto "wouldn''t be caught dead in flat shoes" on Monday when she was seen out on the streets of Hollywood complying with a community service order in a pair of four-inch heels.

Fulfilling the terms of her sentence for cocaine possession three months ago, Hilton was forced to wear a yellow tee-shirt which forms part of the Los Angeles street cleaner uniform and, roller in hand, clean graffiti off the streets of Hollywood. The young heiress has a total of 200 hours of community service to complete, but nobody said she couldn''t do it in style.

As the photo demonstrates, Hilton was also loath to give up her sunglasses. However, according to the website TMZ, the members of the cleaning team with which she has been required to work have been impressed by the candour and willingness which the young millionaire demonstrated during her first day of work.

Following her arrest in August, Paris Hilton was sentenced to serve one year on parole, pay a fine of two thousand dollars and complete 200 hours of community service, in addition to attending a course on drugs awareness.
