French authorities have found a corpse which, by its nature, could belong to the suspected ETA member.
Former member of ETA Jon Anza, who lived in France and was missing since last April 18 could have been found dead in Tolouse. According to French authorities, there is a corpse at the French city''s morgue which could belong to him.
Anza, a native of Donostia-San Sebastián, was arrested in February 1982 accused of being part of the ETA command Lau Haizeta.
The physical characteristics of the body correspond to those of Anza, but more tests are needed to confirm whether the corpse belongs to him, such as an autopsy and tests to ratify AND.
Jon Anza was taken to hospital in the night of 29th April. He had no IDs, was disoriented and had symptoms of having suffered a heart attack, so a violent dead has been ruled out.
