Orange mobile could be about to revolutionize the Glastonbury experience. Festival goers will now be able to charge up their phones with their t-shirts - the louder the concert, the better the charge.
While existing mobile phone technology lets us listen to our favourite bands wherever we may be, the latest invention from Orange will allow us to recharge our mobiles - at a music festival enjoying our favourite band.
The latest innovation from Orange is a t-shirt that recharges your phone, and it may revolutionize the sector, as well as change the face of music festivals for ever. Users just need to plug their phone in the t-shirt whenever they require a quick top-up. And the louder the music, the better the charge.
The mobile phone giant has released a prototype of the t-shirt, which uses noise-responsive technology, in time for this year''s Glastonbury festival.
According to the firm''s head of sponsorship, Andrew Pearcey, the "vibrant festival environment" of Glastonbury, is the perfect setting for "the development of this year''s prototype."
The firm will conduct live testing of the gadget on site around the Spirit of 71 stage at Glastonbury in order to see which acts are the "best to charge to".
While the latest invention will doubtless transform mobile phone technology for ever, it may also provide a whole new opening for heavy metal rock bands!
