DigiPen Institute of Technology Europe-Bilbao opens its doors in the Basque town of Zierbena today, Monday, September 26th.

It is the first campus of DigiPen in Europe and will welcome new engineers and artists specialized in the field of design and game programming, simulation and animation.

This center is located where the old company Cabot was placed, an environment where the aim is to promote the establishment of companies related to video games.

DigiPen Institute of Technology Europe-Bilbao is DigiPen’s second international campus and first campus in Europe.

DigiPen Institute of Technology is a pioneer in game education committed to providing an exemplary education and furthering research in digital media and interactive computer technologies. Through the work of its students, faculty, and staff, DigiPen strives to empower and inspire the digital media and simulation industries around the globe. DigiPen Europe-Bilbao joins the school's Redmond, WA (USA), and Singapore campuses in pursuit of this goal.
